Group

The initial kickoff week of the program was a very exciting time. In addition to meeting many great people, we managed to learn alot too! We were broken up into small groups of 6 almost immediately. This was done by the Fast Track staff. I have to say that my group is diverse and so far very efficient. We seem to all get along quite well, and we all have shown initiative.

My team managed to win the TechMark business simulation during the first week too! Some of it was luck, but we really made some sound decision that paid off in the end. Well done!

The results are in!

Good news! I was accepted! I will be part of the Spring 2010 Fast Track program.

I did have to take 4 pre-req tutorial exams though. Statistics, Accounting, Micro-econ, and IT fluency. I guess they wanted to make sure I wasn't incapable of performing. I did well on all of them. (except Stats. Never did like stats....) Luckily a bit of refresher studying did the trick, and I passed all four exams.

Now its off to the Carribbean for a week to celebrate. The program starts March 15th, so I think I'll go charge up the batteries for a while....

And the waiting begins....

I recently applied to the Spring 2010 term Fast Track MBA Program at Babson. The decision came after I attended an info session in November of 2009 at the Wellesley Campus. I was able to attend a class, as well as a Q&A session with the program recruiting staff. They were all very professional, and I walked away feeling very excited and energized to apply.

The application process was quite challenging in that I was required to write and revise my essays (there were 4) in a span of about two weeks. I had a late start, but they were more than helpful and reassuring based on the fact that I was applying late in the game. I got it done...but not without some late nights!

I should hear if I am accepted in mid-February. To be continued...
